It was great to see as my comic store has not yet got their shipment of comics (lost by UPS) in yet. So here I am almost a week later and I have no idea what is going on......AAARRRGGGHHHH. It was great to see the art even though it is only half the story and I still can't wait to read the book. I will actually be picking it up today.

The escape in progress is great. The one page that is all different characters making their break is going to open up the speculation for weeks on who is all on that page.

Thanks again for posting these Tony. Especially this week, as it is my only access to the book so farAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11949176.post-1162181464022611472006-10-29T22:11:00.000-06:002006-10-29T22:11:00.000-06:00"Is there anything You can't draw ??? Even when I'm lucky enough to see originals, it's rare to be able to see the full story together with the breakdowns, and then be able see how it changes with different steps. I really do appreciate you taking the time to put them up, but please don't feel obligated to (Although we will happily heap oodles of thanks upon you when you do).

I love the mudflaps on the Tortoise, too.
On page 16 of the pencils, aside from Billy Barty as a munchkin (terrific portrait, by the way) and the little hairy egg to the left of him. Is that a brain with legs or a cloud with legs in the upper right margin?

Also what does "Flop Everything" mean under Page 19 of the breakdowns?

And it would have been a shame for the chainlinks to have hidden all that lovely detail.

Thanks again for taking the time to post these.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
